U.S. tech stocks have been dominating the market lately.
In mid-August, Apple climbed to a market cap of $2 trillion. Tesla’s valuation topped $400 billion not long after.
As Nicholas Vardy pointed out recently, just a handful of tech giants are worth more than the entire Japanese stock market. And that’s with the average S&P 500 stock down nearly 30% from its pre-pandemic peak.
There are plenty of investors (from individuals to massive hedge funds) riding this tech wave. But not everyone feels comfortable investing in tech stocks. So in this week’s poll, we asked, “Are you investing in tech stocks?”
Around 76% responded yes.
As Nicholas wrote recently, “‘The trend is your friend.’ Until, like all trends, it one day ends.”
