Recent polls show that 59% of students are afraid to share perspectives that differ from their classmates, 61% are too intimidated to share beliefs that differ from their professors in class, and 64% believe the political and social climate on their campus prevents them from expressing themselves freely.
Most Americans are profoundly disturbed about this. Yet many shrug their shoulders and say, “What can I do about it?”
