The company has a broad customer base of 89 million retail consumers, 11,000 institutional consumers and 210,000 other users. That gives the platform of this pioneer in the cryptocurrency space a whopping 11.5% share of total crypto market capitalization.
And 2021 was a stellar year for this stock as it pulled in $7.8 billion in revenue – up an eye-popping 514% compared with revenue the year before. Its net income skyrocketed 1,000% to $3.6 billion.
A recent executive order signed by President Joe Biden – meant to position the U.S. as a leading player in the innovation and governance of digital currencies – sent this stock soaring.
After jumping 11% in one day after Biden signed the new order, this digital currency platform finds itself in a unique position.

But everything isn’t rosy for this company. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) alleged the company would violate securities laws with its new retail lending product.
The SEC threatened legal action over the retail product that would offer users interest payments on their crypto holdings.
